ORDERING I have no sophisticated 'on-line shopping' facility but feel free to order by email sent to alternativeplants@tiscali.co.uk. Please note the following before ordering: -
I sell plants by mail order only and am not open to visitors. - I operate on a very small scale without fungicides or pesticides. Stocks are very limited and I cannot guarantee availability. Many of the plants are propagated to order and supplied to customers either singly or in lower single figures. Supply is usually in spring or autumn and in some cases there may be a waiting list. I will inform you on availability at the time of ordering and give further updates as necessary. Early ordering is strongly recommended. - Plants are supplied bare rooted or as bare-rooted divisions, usually with most of the compost shaken off. They are freshly prepared and carefully packaged on the day of despatch. Plants will almost always need to be potted up and grown on before being ready to plant out. They will also need suitable protection from slugs and other pests. MAIL

ONLY) Sorry, I do not send plants to customers outside the EU. All plant and seed prices covered by the List include First Class postage and packing within the UK as at 1 January 2008. Should Royal Mail increase either first class or airmail rates at any time I reserve the right to increase prices accordingly. UK CUSTOMERS: The minimum order value I can accept is £10.00. Plants are sent out by ROYAL MAIL FIRST CLASS in SPRING OR AUTUMN depending on availability. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH YOUR ORDER, AS I WILL INVOICE YOU WHEN THE PLANTS/SEED ARE READY. I accept payment by personal cheque or PayPal only.
EU CUSTOMERS: The minimum order value I can accept is £20.00. To all prices please add ant extra £0.35 per plant/pack of seed. I will send you an invoice when the plants/seed are ready. UNLESS AGREED OTHERWISE, PLANTS ARE SENT IN AUTUMN ONLY. PLEASE NOTE I ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENT BY PAYPAL FROM EU CUSTOMERS.
