FRAGARIA   WILD STRAWBERRY

Fragaria vesca ‘Multiplex

A double flowered form of wild strawberry, fruiting as normal. £4.50

Fragaria vesca 'Muricata'

The ‘ Plymouth’ strawberry.  A quaint form of wild strawberry with green bracts replacing petals and with the red fruits also covered in tiny green bracts, hedgehog fashion. It may also flower and fruit on the new runners.  I like it growing with the yellow flowered Lysimachia nemorum ‘Little Sun’.  £4.50

Fragaria vesca ‘Semperflorens’*.  Clump-forming, non-running form of wild strawberry which flowers nearly all year round here.  Small but delicious, sharp-tasting red fruits. An indispensable plant. £4.50
